Many of our customers who had previously bought a trumpet asked us to design a flugelhorn in the traditional French style. We succeeded in building an instrument that sounds dark and warm on the one hand, but radiant and rich in overtones on the other – a true all-round instrument suitable for all styles of playing. The flugelhorn’s intonation is even and accurate at all registers. GP1 comes standard with a trigger for the third slide.
