The J5 bass trombone represents the logical continuation of our trombone range. Like the other models, it has a one-piece tuning slide and neckpipe. That and its conical design give it an edge over other bass trombones, reducing imperfections and enabling a particularly natural airflow. Its response is surprisingly easy and direct, making it significantly less ponderous than most bass trombones. Meticulous development efforts have made it possible to achieve the same flawless intonation characteristics for J5 our customers are used to in our other instruments. This bass trombone’s tone is rich, strong and dark, without being dull.
